Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University (Kalashnikov Tech), a leading technical university of the region, was founded in 1952. Over 12,000 students, including 275 international, study at its 3 faculties and 7 institutes. The university trains students in mechanical and instrumentation engineering, civil and power engineering, information science and computer engineering, natural sciences, economics, architecture, design, and humanities in 41 bachelor and 33 master programs, 5 engineer’s specialties, 5 PhD programs. Admission procedure

Submit application online
Fill in the online application form. The admission manager will contact you in 1-2 days.

Pass entrance exams online
Two online exams are mandatory: Mathematics and English. The admission manager will send you the dates and links.

Sign study contract and make first payment
The admission manager will send you the study contract, you must sign it and send PDF copy to us. After that the admission manager will send you the payment details. It is necessary to make payment for a semester or an academic year.

Wait for official invitation
The invitation for student visa will be issued and send to you in PDF format by email. Issuing time: 40 days.

Apply for a student visa
Apply for a visa at the nearest Russian Embassy. Legalize your educational documents (the admission manager will instruct you accordingly).

Prepare your flight
Buy your air ticket to Izhevsk and inform us about your arrival at least 3 days in advance.

Registration at the university and final payment
Register at the university and get accommodated in the dormitory. Pay the remaining tuition fee, accommodation fee, health insurance ($50/year).
